The Operator is responsible for Operating remote cameras to videotape inside sewer lines for inspections and determine if cleaning and/or repairs and reinstatement of service laterals after rehabilitation (cutting taps) are needed.

What You’ll Do:

Repair various types of sewer lines by using a specific product and processEnsure pull-in tube is properly prepared for installation by examining D-Rings, chains, and attachment to pulling cableInstall prepared tube using a winch, backhoe, crane, or other appropriate materialEnter manhole/confined space to cut line for installation. Assist in initial setup and cleanup of job sites which would include lifting, carrying, and pulling items 50+lbs in weight.Monitor gauges, dials, or other indicators to ensure equipment is working properlyCure resin product using an inflation tube, banding boots, lay flat, boiler hose, etc.Learn/train on Insituform’s products, processes, safety procedures, installation techniques and equipmentDrive various vehicles (pickup trucks to tractor-trailer rigs) to haul crews and equipmentPerform set up and clean up tasks at jobsite/shop jobsnow

What We Need from You:

High School diploma or equivalent preferredExperience as a Construction Laborer and /or Installation Technician highly preferredOSHA certifications are a plusValid driver’s license required with clean motor vehicle reportMust possess, or obtain with 180 days of hire, a CDL with required endorsements (Hazmat, Tanker and Air Brakes), compliant with Insituform’s motor vehicle standardsMust be able to wear respirator and body harness while entering confined spacesAbility to lift/move up to 75 pounds and use pneumatic, battery powered or electric toolsComfortable working outside at job sites with moving vehicles and mechanical operations, with occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particlesTravel by automobile required jobsnow
