Job Description:

We''re currently interviewing for our Packaging Operator, and Grinding Operator roles.

Packaging OperatorThe Packaging Machine Operator is responsible and accountable for assuring all finished product is packaged according to Q&FS specifications and QMP Standards in support of Mars Quality and Food Safety principles.What are we looking for?

Be 18 years of age or older

Have a Highschool diploma, GED or equivalent education

Must be willing and able to work and accept varying shifts and schedules

Good math, reading and writing skills

Knowledge of computers and equipment HMI’s

Ability to work in a self-directed manner with a positive attitude

Working knowledge of Safety, Quality and Material Management Systems and procedures

Working Knowledge of food safety, GMP, GHOP, HACCP, SPC

Effective problem solving, communication skills, and decision making


Other Requirements

Must be able to adapt to a flexible working schedule, including different rotations, shifts, overtime hours, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements

Must be capable of working at elevated heights Must be able to lift 50lbs repetitively Must be able to adapt to temperature and environmental extremes such as hot to cold, dust, dirt, and chemicals

What will be your key responsibilities?Adhere to personal safety practices the meet OSHA & Mars standards to assure a safe environment for yourself and others. Maintain open communication with ensuring site safety policies.Operate within specified efficiency/productivity standards based on formulation and packaging capability and within established finished product Q&FS specifications for each formula.Perform quality checks, and maintain accurate documentation as defined by the QMP and site requirements.Perform packaging equipment adjustments and preventative maintenance activities as defined in SOPs to assure finished packages are in compliance with Q&FS specifications and QMP standards.Perform AM responsibilities in the area, in line with MSE.  Adhere to the master sanitation program as defined by Sanitation MSS.Participate in the continuous improvement of the area, to drive performance and plant KPI’s.  Participate and adhere to all food safety requirements, Quality Management Processes, and site safety programs ensuring that all standards are met.Engage and demonstrate teamwork, in line with the site culture. ​

Grinding Operator

This role is responsible to operate Grinding within safety, quality, and food safety compliance. Participate in MSE deployment.  

Manage for the Grinding GMP/GHP and overall safety requirement in the ROH Grinding process with the principal accountability of

Operating and monitoring grinding lines according to production planPowder quality inspectionResponsible for the hygiene of the areaComplete production reports and handoverSupport MSE deploymentSupport trial runsResponsible for HRSI inventory mgmt.Support KPI’s in grinding areaWhat are we looking for?High school, GED or aboveHave work experience in food or feed industryAccept irregular working hours and overtimeGood communication and teamworkMicrosoft Office

1-3 yrs of experience in mfg setting required 3 - 5 yrs experience in mfg setting preferred Knowledge of basic manufacturing processes and procedures Understanding of major functions within the plant and the ability to work directly with individuals at all levels and functions.

What will be your key responsibilities?

Safety

Follow safety rules and Royal Canin policiesStop any equipment / operative works / external company works if safety/environment protection/fire protection rules are brokenSupport & promote plant safety

Communication and Information

Participate in CP handover meetings

Cleanliness and Tidiness

Define and share with QFS the cleaning programs Perform Housekeeping Checks to ensure compliance to 5S

Responsibilities

Preparation for start-up Manage the process to the production plan Shutdown and cleaning Collaborate with forklift drivers to ensure stable supply of raw materials HRCI Inventory of RM 5S and daily cleaning tasks in the area Support and execute AM responsibilities Any task as delegated by Shift Manager

Human Resources

Support E&T activities in your area Attend training as scheduled

Quality and Food Safety

Follow Royal Canin standards and working procedures Support the site HACCP program Ensure GMP-GHP ‘s in the plant Maintain any CCPs, OPRPs, or PRPs in the department Describe and report non-conformities. Analyze for root causes and undertake correctives actions Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of materials

Environment

Ownership of environmental responsibilities in the plant
