DEPARTMENT Schedule: 1st shift – 7 am to 3:30 pm Monday - Friday 2nd shift – 3:30 pm to 12 am Monday – Friday Join a welcoming, tenured staff at a facility with great career potential! **JOB TITLE:** Gluer Operator **DEPARTMENT: Finishing** **WORK SCHEDULE:** 8 Hour Shift **Essential production duties and responsibilities:** 1. **Operate and Maintain Machinery** : Efficiently operate and maintain machinery to achieve high-quality production standards. 2. **Set-Up and Adjust Machinery:** Perform set-up and adjustments on all manufacturing machines to ensure optimal performance. 3. **Preventative Maintenance:** Conduct general and preventative maintenance on all manufacturing machines to minimize downtime. 4. **Training:** Train production operators, feeders, and packers in the proper operation and maintenance of manufacturing machinery. 5. **Assist in Repairs** : Support the maintenance technicians in production equipment repairs to ensure continuous operation. 6. **Schedule Coordination:** Coordinate and assist in executing daily schedules to complete all tasks on time. 7. **Record Keeping:** Maintain accurate production records of materials used and spoiled and assist manufacturing operators in tracking this data. 8. **Continuous Operation** : Participate in tasks necessary to ensure the continuous operation of the production process. 9. **Safety Compliance:** Follow all plant safety rules and maintain a safe working environment. 10. **Quality Monitoring:** Monitor the quality of products being produced to ensure they meet company standards. **Experience & Qualifications** High School diploma or equivalent required Basic math, reading and writing skills are required to perform this job.
