Made Possible.** **Job Summary:** The Folder/Gluer Operator is responsible for overseeing the set-up and operations of the Folder/Gluer. This includes general and preventative maintenance on machines, make-ready, running, wash-up, safety, quality assurance, production, housekeeping, coordination of work and training of operators, feeders, and packers. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** 1. Operate and maintain the machinery in a proper and efficient manner to achieve acceptable quality. 2. Set-up and adjust all machinery. 3. Perform general and preventative maintenance on all machines. 4. Train operators and feeders and packers in the operation and maintenance of machinery. 5. Assist maintenance mechanic in repairs of the equipment. 6. Coordinate and assist in carrying out instructions of daily schedules to complete all work in a timely manner. 7. Maintain accurate records of material used or spoiled. Assist operators in maintaining this data. 8. Participate in any tasks necessary to allow for continuous operation of the process. 9. Follow all Plant Safety rules and maintain a safe working environment. 10. Monitor the level of quality in the products being produced. **Additional Responsibilities:** 1. Collect Statistical Process Control (SPC) Data as required. 2. Participate in Continuous Process Improvement Activities as required. 3. Follow all guidelines related to SQF Guidelines. **Qualifications:** Basic math, reading and writing skills are required to perform this job.
