Demonstrable experience in similar factory environment 

The main purpose of this role is to produce fasteners to strict tolerances to certain specifications.  To fulfil this role the post holder needs to be able to operate machinery utilising different materials whilst ensuring quality standards are achieved. 

 

Operate machines to produce fasteners to strict tolerances Use gauges and measuring equipment to ensure product meets required specifications Self-certification of your personal work Keep all computer files and manual paperwork accurate and up to date at all times Responsible for producing SPC charts and records To actively take part in locally focused, or multi-functional continuous improvement teams Ensure housekeeping is maintained to the highest standards Work as fully flexible team member within the company to maximise levels of production and quality All quality procedures are adhered to, taking an active part in root cause analysis
