Job Description

The candidate will be responsible for using the manual hub grinding machine to grind and press the flap wheels onto the abrasives. They will manually spread a silicone and glue mixture onto the wheel and then use the manual press, pulling the lever down to grind on fiberglass. After completing each work order, they will help package the items and assist the shipping team. Candidates need to have experience with visual inspections and staying organized with work orders. Once the hub machine is repaired, they will learn the setup and operation process of the semi-automatic equipment, but for now, the tasks must be done manually.

ResponsibilitiesUse the manual hub grinding machine to grind and press flap wheels onto abrasives.Manually spread a silicone and glue mixture onto the wheel and use the manual press.Pull the lever down to grind on fiberglass.Help package completed work orders and assist the shipping team.Perform visual inspections and stay organized with work orders.Learn the setup and operation process of semi-automatic equipment once the hub machine is repaired.Essential Skills1 year of production experience.Mechanical aptitude.Experience with visual inspections.Comfortable lifting up to 25 lbs and pressing lever down.Comfortable with repetitive tasks.Additional Skills & QualificationsMachine operator or attendant experience.Hand tool experience, including screwdrivers and wire crimpers.Abrasive experience.Why Work Here?

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50
