**Job Description** The successful candidate will be responsible for performing work in our plant, moving metal parts through various processes to prepare them for delivery to the end customer. This multi-faceted role will involve loading and setting up machines using process manuals, unloading machines, checking quality, cleaning work areas, and moving material around the facility. You may also be required to unload trucks and operate a forklift occasionally. There will be daily interaction with the lead, discussing and understanding the day's orders and tasks. The role is based in a small, organized, and clean manufacturing floor with a family-like atmosphere. The shift runs from 7 am to 3:30 pm, but flexibility is required as overtime may be needed, extending working hours to 10-12 hours per day. The environment can get dusty from the machining process, but regular cleaning keeps it manageable. The temperature can reach 80-85F on hot days. The site doesn't have AC. Personal protective equipment required includes steel toes, safety glasses, hearing protection in some areas, and gloves. Casual attire such as jeans and a t-shirt or sweatshirt is acceptable for this role. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of the Park 100 area in INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
