**Job Title: Operator** **Job Description** We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Operator to assist our adjuster with machine operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for feeding the machine with stacks of paper, monitoring the flow of paper and ink, and ensuring the quality of the stamped envelopes. This role is essential for maintaining the efficiency and quality of our production line. **Responsibilities** + Feed the machine with stacks of paper + Monitor the flow of paper and ink + Pick up large stacks of envelopes (50 at a time), straighten them, and box them + Box up envelopes + Check envelopes every load to confirm quality is accurate + Document quality checks and record data + Assist with the set-up and preventive maintenance of the machine **Essential Skills** + Ability to read a tape measure, including 1/8th and 1/16th of inches + Packing or operating experience + Experience loading multiple parts or products onto a machine + Experience operating two machines at once + Ability to stand, walk, twist, reach overhead, and bend over for the duration of the shift + Attention to detail and quality experience **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Mechanically inclined + Experience in production, assembly, and general labor **Why Work Here?** Join a family-owned company with a strong heritage since 1985. The environment is loud but well-lit, with industrial fans to maintain comfort. Earplugs are provided and must be worn on the floor. The position requires flexibility to work on either 1st or 2nd shift, with initial training on the 1st shift. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Van Buren Twp, Michigan. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
