**Job Description**
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Operators to join our team. Candidates should have at least one year of experience in a continuous process machining environment with a strong focus on quality and teamwork. Experience with CNC/machine operation is preferred.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate and maintain CNC machines and other equipment.
+ Read and understand blueprints.
+ Use precision gauges to ensure quality.
+ Work collaboratively as a team player.
+ Perform tasks with attention to detail and quality.
+ Support company goals and demonstrate initiative.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in a continuous process machining environment (minimum one year).
+ Ability to read and understand blueprints.
+ Proficiency in the use of precision gauges.
+ Strong analytical skills, mechanical aptitude, and manual dexterity.
+ Good reading and math skills.
+ High school diploma (preferred but not required).
+ Basic computer skills.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with CNC/machine operation.
+ Experience with overhead crane operation (preferred).
+ Motivated and detail-oriented.
+ Excellent communication skills.
+ Willingness to learn and apply new skills
**Work Environment**
This position requires exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 10 to 25 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects. The work environment is a manufacturing setting with a focus on attention to detail and quality work. Dress code and attire will be appropriate for a manufacturing environment.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Rapids, Michigan.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
