Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Operator to join our C shift team. As an Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of machinery, minimizing scrap, and maintaining high production standards. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs.

ResponsibilitiesMinimize scrap on each machine and verify correct color concentration.Prepare for and monitor product changeovers, ensuring line clearances.Compare cycle times to standards and pack bottles to support packers during breaks and lunches.Verify the correct operation of downstream equipment and ensure the production of good quality bottles at restarts.Perform daily and weekly preventive maintenance on assigned equipment.Perform equipment troubleshooting and minor repairs.Complete machine production line reports.Identify and react to various sounds and alarms.Assist material operators with responsibilities as needed.Essential SkillsExperience with machine operating and production.Mechanical inclination and ability to operate machinery.Troubleshooting skills and the ability to critically think.Strong attention to detail.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrior manufacturing or machine operating experience.Ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.Critical thinking skills.Why Work Here?

We offer bonuses every June and December based on production and company performance. Additionally, there is a $1,000 referral bonus and up to $500 bonus for perfect attendance twice a year. Work Environment

The work environment details, including temperature and cleanliness, will be provided after a tour. The position operates on a 12-hour shift schedule: 7am - 7pm (A & B) and 7pm - 7am (C & D), with employees working 15 days a month. Note that no call, no show (NCNS) results in automatic termination, with 2 call-ins allowed per month.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.50/hr.
