**Job Title: Shift Operator**
**Job Description**
This position is responsible for safely and effectively operating the plant equipment to ensure the products manufactured meet the quality and quantity standards set by the organization. You will operate equipment following SOPs and supervision instructions, complete required documentation neatly, and adjust equipment settings to ensure that production is performed per SOP and instructions. Additionally, you will inspect and maintain equipment to ensure safety and proper processing, perform routine analytical testing, and complete daily shift production logs.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate plant equipment safely and effectively.
+ Follow SOPs and supervision instructions during operations.
+ Complete required documentation accurately and neatly.
+ Adjust equipment and process settings as needed.
+ Inspect and maintain equipment for safety and proper processing.
+ Perform routine analytical testing to control the process.
+ Complete daily shift production logs.
+ Work closely with a small team on each shift.
+ Run fermentation processes and make necessary adjustments.
+ Complete batch records and run sterilizations.
+ Carry out various processes such as product granulation.

**Work Environment**
This role is based in a Bio-Medical Manufacturing Plant. You will work in environments with varying temperatures, dust, fumes, and moderate to loud noises. The work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, requiring adherence to basic safety precautions. You will work with heavy machinery, including driving a forklift, and must be able to lift, pull, carry, and pick up objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bangor, Michigan.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
