**Job Title: Operator** **Job Description** Cell Operators will be stationed at their own designated 'Cell' and tasked with taking rubber products for the automotive industry through the production cycle. The process/steps are nearly identical regardless of which cell one is placed in. **Responsibilities** + Fill molding tools with raw material and metal rings. + Flip the molding tool onto the machine for the production process. + Remove the molded tool from the machine and use an air brush to cool the product. + Flip the tool to knock off the rubber parts onto a table/work station. + Visually inspect the rubber products for defects such as air bubbles or rips. + Weigh and count the products to ensure 1000 units are produced before moving to the next bin. + Use a binder in each cell to check for quality defects. + Keep a shift log documenting operator activity, maintenance, scrap tracking, production goals, machine temperature, and product quality. **Essential Skills** + Ability to lift 35lbs 30 times/hour. + Ability to stand on feet for full shift. + Ability to work safely and follow quality standards. + Ability to read and understand English. + No more than 2 jobs in the last 6 months. + Strong communication skills. + Enthusiasm about the opportunity. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Attention to detail. + Experience in production, inspection, packaging, machine operation, or general production. + Experience in industrial manufacturing, assembly, construction, material handling, or inventory management. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a $1500 sign-on bonus, benefits starting day one, a climate-controlled work environment, and the ability to have drinks on the floor. There are also numerous advancement opportunities such as Mold Clean, Case Treat, Shipping, Cell Support, and a Maintenance Apprentice program. **Work Environment** Operators will work in a climate-controlled environment with provided PPE including gloves, safety glasses, and Kevlar sleeves. The shifts are as follows: 2nd shift Monday – Friday (2pm-10pm or 3pm-11pm) and 3rd shift Sunday – Thursday (10pm-6am or 11pm-7am). Breaks include a 20-minute break during an 8-hour shift and an additional 20 minutes for a 12-hour shift. Smoking, tobacco use, and vaping are not allowed on the property, and employees cannot leave the facility during shifts. Operators can wear shorts and regular shoes, and no hearing protection is required. No rings or jewelry are allowed, and long hair must be tied back. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Morristown, Indiana. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.35 - $22.35/hr.
