 Hiring Immediately! Operator Associate (Extrusion)!  Frankfort,Il.

 

Pay rate: $19.25 to $ 21.50 an hour - Paid Weekly

Plus* $1.50 night shift differential

 

Sign On Bonus $1,000.00

 

 

Shifts: 12 hour shifts 7am to 7pm (Day Shift) 7pm to 7am (Night Shift) every other weekend off!!! 2,2,3 schedule

Responsibilities

 

Job Description:

Consistently and safely operates machines at or above standard levels of operation including waste, quality, efficiency and utilizationTrouble shoot, identify and correct machine related problems through proper adjustments to various parts of the machineProvide innovative solutions for production issuesProvides support and guidance to less experienced personnelCompletes appropriate end of shift paperwork, accounting for crewing time, machine time, and production quantitiesAble to inspect and recognize defective product and make machine adjustments to correct cause of defectsObserves all housekeeping, standard work and safety guidelinesMechanical aptitude, demonstrated problem solving skills and effective communication skills - written and verbal are requiredOperate in a safe manner extrusion equipment in our manufacturing/production environment.

 

 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Manual DexterityExcellent communication skillsDetailed record keeping per the prescribed frequencyHand/eye coordinationAnalytical skillsMath Skills (calculators to determine and record production data)Basic troubleshooting skills to resolve minor machine issues relating to its operationUnderstanding of production measurement tools such as level, etc.Knowledge of product quality standardsPrinciples of Extrusion machines

Education and/or Experience:

Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, highly preferredAbility to work with others effectively as a part of a team is essentialAbility to follow standard work instructions is required

 

 

 

Physical Demand/Effort:   

Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and clothing, when required, such as safety shoes, face masks, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hat/bump cap, hair/beard net and glovesAbility to stand, walk, twist, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, bend throughout the duration of the scheduled shift Prolonged standing while performing the duties of the job Job requires high level of manual dexterity with repetitive use of hands, shoulders, elbows, hips, knees, and ankles
