The Warehouse Operator is assigned to day shift. The position is paid $20.35 per hour. Health and welfare benefits begin on date of hire, there is a perfect attendance award, and an annual bonus.

Job Duties:
Operate mobile equipment to organize, receive, and ship finished product and materials Ensure the following elements are focused on: Productivity: Coordinate with management on shipping/receiving orders and scheduling of inbound trucks Quality: Analyze conditions by inspecting inventory, packaging labels and product shelf life to ensure product consistency and quality Safety: Maintain a safe work environment for self and all employees by leading and participating in all safety aspects. Other safety related duties as assigned including, but not limited to safety inspections, assist with LOTO and confined space entry, CPR, present safety topics, etc. Environmental: Evaluate work areas, respond to alarms, assist with housekeeping controls in the shipping/receiving area Training of new employees Required to follow all HAACP procedures and guidelines to ensure product safety and quality Inspect mobile equipment daily and report issues/concerns Record data and maintain records Inventory materials according to FIFO standards General housekeeping of the plant Effectively communicate with drivers and provide customer service regarding shipments as needed Perform miscellaneous job related duties/projects as assigned Commitment to supply safe food, maintain a food safety culture within the site, continually improve the site's food safety management system; and comply with customer and regulatory requirements.
Education/Experience
High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred Certified in all areas of assigned department including use of mobile equipment Must be willing to train in all aspects of shipping and receiving Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment Demonstrated ability to work in a safety conscious environment Some mechanical background including the ability to recognize signs of operational failure Good written and verbal communication skills Must be willing and able to work rotating shift and overtime as needed Must be willing to work different schedules for specified time period as deemed appropriate by management
