Our client, a leader in the medical device industry, is seeking an Operator I to join their team. As an Operator I, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting the production of high-quality medical devices. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to quality, which will align successfully within the organization.
**Job Title:** Operator I
**Location:** Portland, OR
**Pay Range:** $20 per hour
**What's the Job?**
+ Produce high-quality medical devices within a manufacturing cell.
+ Perform assembly, repair, and test operations on pacemakers and related devices.
+ Ensure job documentation is accurate and up to date.
+ Communicate effectively with manufacturing management regarding ideas, problems, and solutions.
+ Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes.
**What's Needed?**
+ Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures.
+ Understanding of electronic data collection systems and computer software.
+ Ability to prioritize work based on importance and deadlines.
+ Capability to handle small components and make critical decisions with minimal supervision.
+ High school degree or equivalent preferred.
