**86223BR** **Job Title:** Operator Leadperson **Department/Function:** Operations: Manufacturing, Production, Maintenance, Utilities **Job Description:** **Operator Leadsperson (Night Shift) - Cordele, GA** This is a full-time, hourly position. The Operator Lead Person is an hourly position and is responsible for the safe operation of their shift team. Responsible for overseeing training and job performance of Operators to ensure high quality and efficient operations while demonstrating a positive and inclusive culture. **Work Duties and Required Skills:** + Ensure production schedule is followed daily, meeting production and quality goals. + Responsible for performing multiple job duties to complete daily production schedule. + Ability to operate semi-tractor on yard to spot tankers for loading. + Follow the expectations of all Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality standards. + Capable of handling 55 lbs. on a repetitive basis + Coordinate operations colleagues to complete all necessary tasks for the shift. + Ensure coverage for employees who are out on vacation, illness, or other reasons. + Work with Production Supervisor to resolve production issues. + Assist investigating deviations on batches, yields, and complaints. + Review daily production logs. + Responsible for participating and managing record keeping, safety, quality, and production related activities + Maintains compliance of housekeeping/master sanitation schedule + Leads shift exchange review and response meetings to communicate warehouse key process indicator performance. + Provide mentoring and training to colleagues. + At times, overtime will be required - including job coverage.
