Job Summary:
The Operator Mechanic reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and is responsible for a variety of responsibilities including ensuring assigned equipment is ready for startup/changeovers. Visually inspect equipment to ensure operation according to standards making adjustments. Complete centerline inspections and may assist mechanics with minor repairs, replacements, and modifications to equipment following all safety regulations and ensuring all GMP and quality standards are met. Must have own hand tools. Starting pay up to $24.87 per hour + Attendance Bonus! ($0.50 for first shift, $0.60 for second shift, and $0.70 for third shift). You will be onsite at the Conagra manufacturing facility.

Verify product for startupEnsure equipment is ready for startup/changeovers performing pre-start checksVisually inspect equipment to ensure it is operating according to standards making adjustmentsComplete centerline inspections to identify defectsGrease seals and bearings, clean, inspect, and replace beltsAssist mechanics with minor repairs, replacements, and modifications to equipmentAssist mechanics with Planned Maintenance (PM)Teardown equipment for changeover/sanitationComplete daily paperwork (e.g., centerline reports, scale audits, PM/AM sheets)Keep work area free from debris to maintain a safe and efficient production processParticipate in production line drumbeatsGeneral housekeeping (e.g., sweeping, wiping down guards, removal of contaminants, etc.)You have:

Education: High school diploma or GED.
Experience Required: Minimum 1 year maintenance or related experience.
