Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities:

Under supervision, perform simple repairs and preventive maintenance. Assist in repairs and modification of equipment. Must be able to read diagrams and manufacturers’ manuals. Must have thorough understanding of Forming equipment. Perform other duties or tasks required by supervisor.

Tweaking, trouble shooting, and maintenance of equipment in

Candidate Requirements:

Must have a High School Diploma or GED. Must be a team player with a “can do” attitude. Should possess basic mechanical skills. Must be capable of working in hot, dusty areas. Must be capable of standing for long periods of time. Must be able to frequently lift and carry 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs. Must have basic troubleshooting abilities. Must have good communication skills. Must have basic computer and math skills. Must be able to read basic English. Must be able to work with machine shop tools Regularly required to stand, sit, move about facility, climb stairs, bend, twist, kneel, crouch or crawl, use hands and fingers to touch, handle, or feel objects, tools and controls, grasp, push, pull, reach with hands and arms, lift above shoulder level. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.    

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts. The employee occasionally is exposed to fumes or other airborne particles and vibration.

Noise levels in the work environment usually in the range of 85 decibels.
