Operator - Security Operations Center

Operator – Security Operations Center (position is on site at Corporate facility in Bradenton, FL)

Description of Position:

Operators work within a team environment and are required to remotely observe stores to identify theft and fraud. Operators observe cameras at length while protecting the Company’s assets. By proactively identifying theft and fraud situations, the Operator maintains a strong Loss Prevention culture in the store to reduce losses and liabilities. This position is an in-office role that will work out of our corporate office in Bradenton, FL.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Remotely observe stores via CCTV to identify theft and build external cases for prosecutionActively communicate with stores and Field Loss Prevention to address current theft and fraud activityCommunicate theft and fraud incidents to the appropriate law enforcement agenciesRecord cases in APIS Case Management SystemCommunicate all concerns regarding CCTV/Systems to SOC Manager or LP Technology CoordinatorReview exception reports and observes associates’ activity to identify potential acts of fraud or theftComplete all other tasks assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

· High School diploma or equivalent

· Customer service skills and retail experience a plus

· Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Must be a strong multi-tasker

· Must demonstrate sound decision-making and judgement; must be able to remain calm in stressful or critical situations

· Fluent in English; bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus


Physical Requirements:

This position involves a variety of physical activities including talking, hearing, and repetitive motions. Visual acuity is required for observing video and analyzing records.
