Title: Operator – Team Member
Required Shift:
12 Hour Rotating Shift
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday
Job Purpose:
Operators are responsible for setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing production (i.e., machining, processing, assembly, or packaging) equipment used for producing finished goods or sub-assemblies for finished goods. Completes work with a limited degree of supervision; regularly provides guidance to others with less experience. Monitors the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products. Maintains accurate daily production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis.

High school diploma or GED1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environmentForklift operation experiencePhysical Requirements:
Frequent lifting/carrying pushing (10-50 lbs) and pushing/pulling (50-300 lbs)Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, handling and grippingAbility to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, leaning over equipment and work in confined spacesAbility to stand and/or work on feet for extended periods (minimum eight hours in one shift).Ability to read, write and speak EnglishPreferred Qualifications:
Technical degree or certifications2+ years of experience operating and maintaining high-speed production machinery in a manufacturing/production environment Strong understanding of all GMP’s, PPE’s and quality checksWhat will be your Key Responsibilities?
Performs quality assurance checks, documentation, place packaging material on the line, change materials/product, machine change overs, troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns, clean machine jams and adjusts the machine to minimize downtime and promote productivity.Operate a pallet jack to move pallets of combos to multiple locations on the line.Responsible for meeting production requirements daily.Cleaning, sweeping, inspection, lubrication and reporting abnormalities, etc.Responsible for the use of proper Lock Out/Tag Out procedures and meeting all safety guidelines.May be required to provide backup coverage for the Production Coordinator when needed.Allergies: if you have an allergy to soy lecithin, please let the recruiter know in your initial screen.
