Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Operator for our weekend day shift. The shift hours are from 5:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Friday through Sunday. In this role, you will support the manufacturing of electronic components in a lean manufacturing and high-compliance environment. You will perform tasks that include handling small parts and conducting thorough visual inspections under a microscope.
ResponsibilitiesSupport the manufacturing of electronic components in a lean manufacturing, high-compliance environment.Use a torque screwdriver to fasten components into place.Use an arbor press to press pins into place on an assembly.Work under a microscope to place and adjust small components.Use tweezers to pick up, place, and manipulate small components.Perform work in a laminar flow hood.Possibly operate a basic test system to gather pass/fail information from assemblies.Ensure compliance with ITAR regulations and maintain ESD-sensitive work area.Essential SkillsAttention to detail, especially with small parts.Production experience, preferably in electronics.Familiarity with ITAR compliance.Computer skills.Experience with quality checks and machine operation.Ability to work in a cleanroom environment.Proficiency using microscopes and hand tools.Experience in electronics assembly and testing.Additional Skills & QualificationsFine hand skills for detailed work.Experience in machine operating/testing systems.Ability to follow detailed work instructions written in English.Inexperienced candidates from other manufacturing roles with strong references may also be considered.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
This is an electronics manufacturing facility that includes both cleanroom and non-cleanroom areas. The work environment emphasizes lean manufacturing and high compliance, requiring adherence to ITAR regulations and maintenance of ESD-sensitive areas.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Beaverton, Oregon.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
