**Job Description:**
Provides quality care to patients of all ages as defined in the ambulatory care nursing philosophy of Essentia Health. Performs tests and procedures and assists ophthalmologists or optometrists in providing quality eye care. Work Experience:East Market:Combination of 1 year clinical or clerical healthcare related work and customer service experience.West Market: none
**Education Qualifications:**
No educational requirement.
**Licensure/Certification Qualifications:**
East Market:
CPR-certified or must obtain within 1 month.
Current JCAHPO certification as a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant required within 1 year of hire or transfer.
West Market:
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire.
