We are seeking an Ophthalmic Medical Assistant to join our team at a split clinic in the North Houston area. The selected candidate will work under the supervision of a physician and must be flexible with their schedule as there are no set days. This role involves documenting physician visits in the EMR system, using medical instruments as directed, performing workups after doctor visits, and effectively communicating with patients about procedures and treatments. ResponsibilitiesCheck in and room patients.Document physician visits in the EMR system.Operate medical instruments as instructed by the physician.Perform patient workups following doctor visits.Communicate with patients regarding procedures and treatments.Skills and QualificationsBachelor or Associate of Science in biology, chemistry, public health or any life science requiredBilingual in Spanish and English Interest in being in the medical fieldPay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $19.00/hr.
