Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Ophthalmic Scribe to join our team. The primary role involves documenting physician visits in the EMR system and scribing for multiple physicians. Additionally, you will assist physicians with instruments as requested, perform patient work-ups after doctor visits, and communicate with patients based on the documented plan provided by the doctor.

The work schedule is Monday to Friday, with hours between 6:30 AM and 6:00 PM, depending on clinic needs. Training will take place at the admin building in the Galleria for the first week. You will be part of a team of 8-24 individuals, with each physician requiring 8 clinic staff. This role's home clinic is one of the busiest clinics in Houston, handling 80-100 patients a day. Schedules are provided two weeks in advance. On rare occasions, you may be asked to visit another clinic for training, with mileage reimbursed. The environment is extremely fast-paced. The dress code requires navy blue scrubs, short and groomed nails, and tied hair.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.50 - $19.00
