Description

We are looking for a patient-focused Ophthalmic Technician to join our team! In this role, you will travel to multiple UCLA Health locations in the Department of Ophthalmology and will be assigned to a unit or division as needed to provide patient care services. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Record patient medical history Perform visual acuity tests, autorefractometry, lensometry, and tonometry Administer eye drops for dilation and anesthesia Assist with minor procedures Educate patients on eye care, treatment plans, and post-procedure instructions Maintain and sterilize ophthalmic instruments and equipment Support administrative tasks such as file prep, insurance verification, patient follow-up, and prescription refills

Salary Range: $35.57-46.93 Hourly

This position will travel to multiple UCLA Health locations in the Department of Ophthalmology and will be assigned to a location as needed to provide patient care services. Ability to travel is required.
