This is full-time temporary employment during the legislative session (February 24, 2025 through May 2, 2025). Essential Duties/Responsibilities The Calendar Assistant is responsible for filing documents, data entry, maintaining member and committee/subcommittee files, and helping with publications and various projects. The Calendar Assistant must also be able to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, sometimes requiring staff to be available to work more than 40 hours a week (and after normal business hours) without prior notice. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities + Knowledge of administrative principles and practices. + Proficient computer skills. + Research skills. + Ability to perform general office duties + Ability to work under pressure. + Ability to effectively communicate with others. + Ability to visually review computer documents and other printed material, making corrections either in writing or electronically. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma and 2 years of secretarial and/or clerical experience.
