Position Overview and Responsibilities: + This position supports the migration of building automation systems to Tridium Niagara . Specific Duties: + Import existing Niagara stations into the DMS Tridium Supervisor. Import alarms to appropriate alarm classes and histories. + Use DMS standard equipment operating sequence for chilled water, hot water, AHU, and air distribution to create equipment programming in the Niagara Framework. Adjust sequence, as necessary based on specific equipment, conditions, and building design. + Use DMS graphic templates to create 2D color graphics in accordance with Division 25 1500 – Graphics. + Establish new point names, actions, alarms, schedules, and histories in accordance with DMS Division 25 1200 - Point Configuration. + Perform true-up of previous BAS migrations to meet the requirements of DMS Division 25. + Update PX pages, programming, sequences of operation, alarms, and histories. + Perform other duties as assigned Knowledge, skills and abilities, including utilization of equipment, required for the position : + Knowledge of local and wide area network architecture, protocols, and addressing. + Knowledge of communications protocols such as BACnet, MODBUS, and FOX. + Knowledge of the nomenclature and function of BAS, DDC and HVAC equipment. + Knowledge of BAS software and DDC service tools. + Knowledge of control strategies and sequence of operation for HVAC equipment. + Skilled use of Microsoft Office programs and desktop computer operation to input, view and retrieve information. + Ability to concentrate on a task to ensure information is complete and accurate. + Ability to utilize problem-solving and decision-making skills to reach an acceptable outcome. + Ability to communicate professionally and effectively both, verbally and in writing. + Ability to establish and maintain professional relationship, at all levels, both internally and externally. + Ability to exercise initiative, good judgement and discretion. + Ability to function proactively and synergistically, as part of a team, or independently. + Ability to model behaviors of integrity, respect, excellence, accountability, and teamwork. Minimum qualifications: + High school diploma or equivalent. + Proficient in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. + 1-year recent experience with DDC. + 1-year recent experience using BAS.
