Based in Algiers, as Operations Geoscience Reservoir Engineer you will complete routine Interpreting of data to determine subsurface geology and the economic importance of natural resources, using sophisticated technical software. Develops geological models of the earth's subsurface to understand the geological structure, rock characteristics and the likely distribution of oil/gas/mineral-bearing strata. Work in overseen by supervisor / project leader to ensure tasks are completed accurately in a timely manner. Makes judgment on tasks of a routine nature.

 

Responsibilities:

Carry out independently Reservoir Engineering analysis including but not limited to: Fluid properties, Rock Properties, Volumetric Analysis, Material Balance analysis, Fluid flow and Well Productivity Analysis, Fluid displacement analysis, Reservoir Heterogeneity and Characterization, Analytical performance and reservoir mechanisms,  Reservoir simulation for performance analysis and production forecasting, Reserves determinations and Integration with other disciplines for Field Development plans. Perform sampling formation test analysis from RES tool.  Coordination between various WFRD PLs for added value to our clients

 

Requirements:

Degree in Petroleum Engineering,  Production optimisation experience Formation Evaluation experience 15+ Years of experience in similar role Field Development Studies Experience of working with mature fields You must be eligible to work in Algeria

 

Preferred:

PhD in Reservoir Engineering.  Operator experience
