This is a challenging growth opportunity for a business-minded professional supporting the Florida Park Service. The Bureau of Operational Services (BOS) seeks a high energy, self-motivated team player who can work and think independently with moderate supervision. This position will schedule up to 40 hours per week.

Pay:
$15 - $22 per hour (commensurate with experience)
Your Specific Responsibilities:
The primary focus of this position is collaborating with district, park and BOS staff to participate in the development of visitor service agreements in Florida State Parks. Additional areas of focus include, but are not limited to, researching and participating in special projects, operational support activities and related program areas, as assigned.
Duties and responsibilities related to this position include, but are not limited to, conducting research, analyzing and interpreting financial data, business analysis, creating and presenting business and financial projections, researching and developing contracts and contract amendments, drafting and reviewing correspondence including legal notices, review and processing of monthly financial reports and associated payments in accordance with Department guidelines, recurring collection and retention of administrative deliverables, formal and informal informational presentations to section staff and working closely with internal and external stakeholders to meet agency goals. Occasional travel is required to Florida State Parks, to conduct public meetings and stakeholder interviews.
+ Successfully communicate and collaborate with a variety of internal and external customers including park staff, BOS staff, concessionaire staff, and visitors.
+ Analyze and interpret financial data, business and economic analysis, produce business projections, participate in business development.
+ Participate in the administration of Division operational support programs.
+ Participate in all aspects of the development of visitor service agreements.
+ Compile, monitor, track and analyze concessions revenue related data within the Park Business System.
+ Conduct research and prepare viable recommendations.
+ Develop and distribute staff training resources.
+ Perform travel and other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of:effective communication, both verbal and written Skill in:the use of various computer software applications, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and SharePoint; meeting simultaneous deadlines critical to operations; strong organizational skillsAbility to: analyze data, review and edit business and contract documentation, conduct research and prepare viable recommendations; establish and maintain effective working relationships with concessionaires, legal counsel and other internal and external customers; utilize problem solving techniques; manage time effectively; follow verbal and written instructions; resolve inquiries for internal and external customers; take initiative; work independently; travel periodically including day and overnight trips; understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures; be flexible while maintaining a positive attitude; attend to details; successfully complete position specific training; maintain a valid driver license.
