Greets customers, offers forms and information, and directs them to appropriate staff. Provides HR and or payroll documentation to employees for name changes, address changes, W-2, paycheck stubs along with ensuring corrections are completed in the PeopleSoft system. Handles multi-line phone system, resolving HR-related inquiries with timely and accurate information. Serves as backup for new hire/transfers/promotional paperwork, Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Leave and UF Engaged for the BA HR office. Also creates and maintains spreadsheets for various tracking purposes. Creates new-hire packets, and schedules open enrollment appointments. Provides administrative support to the BA HR, Associate Director by coordinating meetings, assisting with preparing documents, preparing and sorting files, and preparing mail. Keeps inventory of office supplies and makes of list of items to be ordered along with placing order and verifying receipts. Works with Facilities Services Accounting on reconciling purchases. Review and process Personnel Action Request (PAR) forms for employees with proper supporting documentation and approvals. Assists in entering Electronic Personnel Action Form (ePAF) actions for supervisor updates, job reclassifications, and position description updates. Facilitates the ordering of plaques and shadow boxes for retiring Business Affairs employees and coordinates pickup and or delivery with the appropriate departments. Delivers and pickups mail at various areas across campus. Drives state vehicle that requires a valid driver license. Work hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm - Monday – Friday; With a one-half (1/2) hour meal period Expected Salary: $18.00 - $20.00 hourly based on experience. Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent and two years of relevant experience.
