IMPORTANT NOTE: Two candidates will be hired for this vacancy –one to work in Palm Beach County and one to work in Orange County. The selected candidates must reside in the county of choice (noted in the Qualifying Questions of this advertisement).

The Work You Will Do
Using a delinquent certificate of operation list and the DBPR equipment provided by Tallahassee, the selected candidate will identify elevators or other conveyances within Palm Beach County or Orange County that are in operation using a delinquent license. The selected candidate will visit between 15-25 elevators or other conveyances identified on the delinquent list to verify they are in operation. This can be achieved by personally riding the conveyance or observing the general public using the conveyance. Once the conveyance is verified to be in operation using a delinquent license, a form provided by Tallahassee will be completed and returned to the Bureau.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
+ Computer/tablet/smart phone skills
+ Effective phone etiquette skills
+ Must be able to communicate effectively both in written and verbal form.
Minimum Requirements
+ High School Diploma or equivalent*, and
+ Must have a valid driver’s license, and
+ Computer/tablet/smart phone skills, i.e., email, data entry, Word documents, use of smart phone applications.
*If you are theselected candidatefor this position, you will be required to submit a copy of your High School Diploma or equivalent to meet the minimum qualifications for the position.
SPECIAL POSITION NOTES
+ The selected candidatemust be available M-F 9:00 am – 3:00 pm, with 1 hour for lunch.
+ This position ispart-timewith a maximum of 29.50 hoursper week.
+ This is a temporary position,anticipated to endJune 30, 2025.

+ You will be provided a state vehicle to perform the duties of this position.
