Job Description:The Department of Surgery, UF Health Aortic Disease Center, is seeking a full-time (40 hours per week) research assistant who will be performing a variety of research projects and other duties related to the area of aortic research.
Key Functions:
Collect and analyze data. Write research proposals. Create and write research proposals, abstracts, and papers. Direct clinical video production. Edit educational and clinical videos. Collect operative research samples. Patient contact may occur on an as needed basis during the course of duties. Other duties as assigned. Expected Salary:$12-$15/hour; based on education and/or experience.
Minimum Requirements: At least 1 year of college complete and on health or engineering related education track. Comfortable in hospital and laboratory setting. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of biological, medical, nursing, engineering, or similar field of study Experience in design and construction of devices Moderate to expert user of Microsoft Excel Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Experience working in an office or hospital setting Knowledge of University of Florida rules, regulations, and policies regarding research Special Instructions to Applicants:In order to be considered, you must upload your cover letter, resume, and a list of 3 personal and/or professional references with contact information.
