The selected candidate will work closely with the the Principal Investigator on molecular biology and genetics research. Primary responsibilities will include: + DNA and RNA isolation and purification + Implement functional genomics assays + Working with patient-derived IPS cells + Preparing libraries for high-throughput sequencing + Assisting the Principal Investigator (PI) in lab organization + Ordering reagents and supplies + Supervising undergraduate students in the lab + Maintaining equipment + Other duties may be assigned as needed Expected Salary: $16 - $20 per hour; commensurate with education and experience. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a life science or related field.
