Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Optical Sales Associate - NYU Langone Huntington Medical Group.

In this role, the successful candidate Seeking an individual with retail optical experience who has a passion for sales, fashion, and healthcare.

Job Responsibilities:

Engage and create a personalized experience with each client to promote various optical servicesKnowledge of various vision plans a plusEnsure cases and displays are properly maintained and stockedEffectively execute product promotions to increase sales and brand awareness for NYU Langone Health OpticalStay up to date on optical trends and servicesMust be able to take lens measurements and adjust frames for fittingProvide each client assistance and education on frame types, lenses, and other optical productsOther duties assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Associate Degree or higher
Licensed Optician
3 yrs. optical sales experience
3 yrs. of vendor and inventory management experienceMust be able to develop, track, and obtain sales goals.
Knowledge of current and emerging optical market.
Knowledge of contact lens fitting.
Knowledge of eyeglass lens finishings.

Preferred Qualifications:
Individual must be able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment. Must be organized and pay attention to detail.

Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $45,860.06 - $70,553.94 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
