Work Schedule: 

Schedule will vary week to week with 3 month advance notice. Hours will fall between Monday- Friday, business hours.

We are seeking an Optometrist to:

Join the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences to provide quality care as an independent health care provider while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team including general and specialty ophthalmologists. Provide quality care in a compassionate and patient-family centered environment. Plan and create learning opportunities for technical staff and residents. Educate patients and families on wellness, prevention and treatment plans.

Education:

Minimum –Doctor of Optometry (OD) Degree from an accredited Optometry School

Preferred – Completion of a one-year residency in post-optometry school study

Work Experience:

Minimum –Three (3) years post graduate clinical experience OR completion of a residency

Preferred –Seven (7) years of relevant clinical experience

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum – 

State of Wisconsin Optometry Licensure CPR certified
