This is an employed civilian Nurse ( Labor & Delivery) position that affords job security, a competitive salary, bonuses, moving expenses, full malpractice coverage, up to 26 days paid vacation, 11 days paid Federal Holidays, a sick leave benefit, CME opportunities, and a first-class health and retirement benefit package. **Responsibilities** As a Optometrist (Clinical) you will: + Provide diagnosis, management, and treatment of all patients that are within the scope of optometric practice and credentials + Treat pathology and injuries of the eye and adnexa using therapeutic drugs + Perform advanced optometric procedures in the detection and treatment of unusual visual deficiencies (i.e., cycloplegic and manifest refraction, biomicroscopy, direct and binocular indirect opthalmoscopy) + Monitor the maintenance of ophthalmic equipment and instruments + Perform oversight of the optometry staff + Provide eye and vision consultative services to patients and medical staff **Qualifications** US Citizenship required Applicants must have received a passing score on the National Board of Examiners in Optometry (NEBO) examinations and possess a current, full, and unrestricted license to practice optometry in a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
