The Optometrists also specialize in eye care for pediatrics, geriatrics, and other populations. To help support ongoing practice growth and preserve its high standard of care, the business is looking to add an Optometrist to the team of 10 professionals.

Barrow Eye Center utilizes the industry’s latest vision care technology to diagnose and treat a wide array of eye diseases. The practice is well-appointed with automated optical equipment and behind-the-scenes functional technology, including digital refraction, optical coherence tomography, visual field, and topography. Customers enjoy a family-friendly experience as they shop the latest eyewear styles from the optical studio—plus, the Opticians offer personalized support to help patients select the perfect frames for cosmetic, lifestyle, and vision needs.

About the Optometrist Opening

Barrow Eye Center is seeking an Optometrist passionate about providing personalized and patient-centric care for patients of all ages and special populations. You’ll provide comprehensive vision services, recommend vision-enhancing solutions, and promote good eye health through patient education—on average, 25 to 28 patients are cared for daily. The position is full-time, offering 30 to 40 hours weekly. The practice is looking for a self-motivated professional who is laser-focused on practice growth and increasing profits. To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate leadership, communication, interpersonal skills, and compassion for patient health and safety. The ideal candidate will want to continuously develop skills through mentorship with experienced doctors and be willing to integrate new techniques and innovations that improve patient care and services.

Minimum qualifications:

Optometry license in the state of Tennessee
