Center for Sight has five flourishing locations and provides a total eye care experience for families and residents in the Central Valley. Combining cutting-edge technologies and a caring team of professionals, the practices offer full-scope optometry, diagnostic and surgical eye care, and an extensive optical department. In addition to routine eye and medical care, the experts specialize in pediatric eye care, general ophthalmology, corneal transplants, and oculoplastic procedures. To maintain a competitive edge in the eye care industry, the business is looking to add an Optometrist to the dynamic team of 40 staff members.
Center for Sight utilizes the industry’s most advanced vision care technology to diagnose and treat a wide array of eye diseases. Optometric professionals leverage autorefractors, optical coherence tomography, visual fields, and fundus camera. Using cloud-based software, the office operates in a paperless environment that enables electronic medical records and charting from anywhere. Patients enjoy a family-friendly experience as they shop a large variety of fashionable eyewear—plus, the Opticians provide personalized support to help patients select the proper frames tailored to medical needs and fashion preferences.
About the Optometrist Position
Center for Sight is seeking a highly skilled Optometrist to provide comprehensive eye care and deliver outstanding customer service through all patient interactions. In this role, you’ll perform routine vision and eye care services, contact lens consultations and fittings, and pre-and-post-operative surgical care—on average, 30 patients are cared for daily. Support from a dedicated team of Optical Technicians will allow you to focus on providing the highest level of personalized care to help patients achieve optimal vision. This is an excellent opportunity to collaborate with other professionals and work alongside an Ophthalmologist to help you build a dedicated patient base.
To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate leadership, communication, interpersonal skills, and compassion for patient health and safety. The ideal candidate will want to develop skills through mentorship with experienced doctors and integrate new techniques and innovations that improve patient care and services.
