About Natomas Optometry  

Established in 2000, Natomas Optometry has been serving the greater Sacramento area for over 20 years, providing a full eye care experience for the whole family. With a team of three highly-skilled Optometrists, the practice offers specializations in treating a range of conditions including, glaucoma, dry eye, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, computer vision syndrome, and low vision. Additionally, the practice offers surgical co-management of cataracts and LASIK and fittings for hard-to-fit contact lenses. To support long-term practice growth and maintain the exemplary service that patients know and expect, Natomas Optometry is looking for an Associate Optometrist to join the team.  

This technology-advanced practice utilizes the newest diagnostic equipment to assess and diagnose ocular diseases, including optical coherence technology and digital retinal imaging. Plus, computer-assisted eye exams to ensure accuracy complements the examination process. Patients enjoy browsing the latest designer eyewear from a modern optical boutique where professional frame stylists will help customers achieve their desired look. Patients can always expect to experience the newest eyeglass lens and contact lens technology on the market.   

About the opening 

Natomas Optometry has an excellent long-term opportunity for an Associate Optometrist who is passionate about providing the highest level of patient care. In this role, you’ll perform comprehensive vision exams to ensure excellent eye health and vision care. A candidate with experience in diagnosing, treating, and managing ocular diseases will be a great asset to the team. This is a full-time position; however, the practice is offering flexibility to work three to four days a week. Natomas Optometry is eager to find someone interested in a long-term career and wants to work and grow in a sustainable environment to contribute to a substantial private practice.  

To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate leadership, communication, interpersonal skills, and compassion for patient health and safety. The ideal candidate will want to develop skills through mentorship with experienced doctors and integrate new techniques and innovations that improve patient care and services. As a valued member of the team, you’ll actively contribute to the development and success of Natomas Optometry.  

Minimum qualifications include: 

Optometry license in the state of California 

Preferred qualifications include:  

Ocular disease treatment and management
