Who We Are Seeking:
We are seeking a full-time Optometrist to join our thriving practice with two locations in the beautiful neighboring coastal towns of Beaufort and Morehead City, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will be proficient in advanced diagnostic technologies, provide comprehensive eye care, and have an interest in managing our Dry Eye / Ocular Aesthetics Clinic. Responsibilities:
As an Optometrist at Vision Source, you will be responsible for a range of duties typical of an optometry practice, including:

Conducting comprehensive eye exams to assess patient vision and eye health.Diagnosing and managing various eye conditions, including but not limited to glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and other ocular diseases.Prescribing corrective lenses and contact lenses tailored to patient needs.Providing pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgery.Educating patients on proper eye care, preventive measures, and maintaining overall eye health.Utilizing state-of-the-art technology such as Optos, OCT, HVF, and NeuroLens to enhance diagnostic accuracy and patient care.Managing and directing our Dry Eye / Ocular Aesthetics Clinic, offering specialized treatments and services.

Qualifications:

Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited optometry school.Valid optometry license in the state of North Carolina.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.Interest in specializing in dry eye and ocular aesthetics is preferred.
