OR Equipment Technician

Position Summary
Responsible for pre-op and post-op case preparation including case picking for all surgical procedures. Provides equipment, supplies and furniture for cases as needed as part of room preparation.
Primary Position Responsibilities
+ Facilitate both urgent and scheduled case preparation
+ Place/remove equipment from surgical rooms
+ Identify critical items to case needs and escalate as appropriate
+ Collaborate with biomedical engineering to facilitate equipment repairs
+ Communication with purchasing, OR Director, and vendors to ensure items received for case
+ Other duties as assigned
