The Christiana Hospital OR Radiology Department is currently recruiting for a Full-Time Rad Tech to work the evening shift. This individual will also work every 4th weekend with a rotating holiday schedule

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Complete knowledge and proficiency in the use of radiographic equipmentDeveloping and identifying radiographs; which includes proper identification of film, date and timePerforming clerical duties when necessary: receptionist and scheduling duties, completes forms on clinical, etc. and various filing dutiesAssisting with the training of radiology technology studentsUsing and performing QC on PACS, Computed Radiography, and/or Digital Radiography SystemsOperating the following equipment: Seimans, Phillips, and ZiehmBurn patient CD’s

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:3 years’ experience as a staff technologist.Completion of two-year program in Radiology Technology is required.Associates Degree in Radiology Science is preferred.An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.RT Technologist experience preferredARRT Registered Technologist requiredDelaware licenseCertification in CPRFlexibility in hours and duties is required

M-F 1430-2300
