Our OR/Surg Tech duties include but are not limited to: + responsible for the preparation of sterile supplies and instruments for each assigned procedure + maintaining sterile field during case + providing surgeon with sterile supplies and instruments during assigned procedures + able to work well under stressful and emergency situations + able to act quickly and accurately + this position does not require being on-call nor working weekends/holidays! Qualifications Education and Work Experience + graduation from an accredited ORT/Surgical Tech programANDminimum one year of experience, required + on-the-job trained techsminimum 2 years experience in a main OR surgical setting, required + must be proficient in the following specialties:ENT and Plastics + experience in scrubbing at least minor procedures in the specialty surgical areas (i.e., General, Ortho, Urology, Ophthalmic, Pain, Colo-Rectal) + current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current #LI-MP1 Connect With Us!
