**CTG is seeking to fill an Oracle Administrator position for our client in Greenwich, CT.** **Location:** Remote **Duration:** 12 months **Duties:** + Manage deployment and oversee maintenance of new databases, schemas, and database objects. + Contribute to defining application database standards and creating application data models. + Manage database performance in the context of applications while collaborating with infrastructure and application teams. + Act as a liaison among project management, technical teams, and IT leadership to ensure best practices are defined and followed. + Drive consistency across applications and projects wherever possible. + Assist application developers with SQL tuning and performance optimization. **Skills:** + Strong expertise as an Oracle DBA + Proficiency in database performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing strategies. + Experience with database security, backup/recovery, and high availability strategies. + Familiarity with data modeling, database design, and schema management. + Strong SQL programming skills, including stored procedures, triggers, and functions. + Ability to collaborate effectively with development, infrastructure, and business teams. + Knowledge of cloud-based database solutions is a plus. **Experience:** + Experience as an Oracle Database Administrator + Proven track record in optimizing database performance and supporting application development teams. **Education:** + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
