The role of the Enterprise Architect (EA) is to partner with customer through their journey from use case identification to technical qualification to advising on solution architecture to support in implementations.

For a set of customer accounts, this EA becomes a SPOC from Oracle side who helps and advice the customer on their Oracle product investments (Cloud and On-Prem), works closely with them to come up with the solution (Cloud or On-Prem) that is right for business from all respects. In the process, this EA become a trusted advisor to the customer and becomes a part of customer’s governance process.

The responsibilities related to this role are listed below:

· Study the customer’s current IT footprint (Oracle and non-Oracle)

· Understand their pain areas and the solutions that are currently implemented with them that are not working out

· Work closely with different LOBs of customer to understand the span of control of a solution, its benefits to business and the cost involved

· Provide sizing and capacity estimation; assist in developing cost benefit cases

· See how and which specific Oracle products (On prem or Cloud services) can be best leveraged for the customer

· Act as engagement manager when a project moves from pre-sales to implementation and provide customers the solution continuity

· Continuously look at account mining options in a customer account and work closely with sales and internal domain leads to keep building pipe

Qualifications:

· 15+ yrs of strong solutioning approach experience to ensure customer gets the right solution to their business problem and gains their trust

· Solid experience in Banking/FSI or Logistics/Supply Chain domain

· Need to be up to date on the latest trends in market, customer preferences, competition, etc.

· Strong technology knowledge of Oracle infra (application infra must, hardware infra preferable), middleware, Database products and solutions (Cloud and OnPrem).

· Professional experience working on OCI/ AWS/ Azure/ GCP. Preferably with Certifications such as Solution Architect and/or Developer Certification on OCI or AWS or Google Cloud

· Experience on using cloud native technologies to build applications. Good understanding of Serverless Computing. DevOps exposure and knowledge of one or more tools such as Chef, Puppet, Jenkins, Ansible

· Proven experience of using SQL & NoSQL datastores

· Proven track record of implementing solutions using Kubernetes, Container Orchestration technologies

· Experience in implementing solutions using flavors of Linux operating systems, load balancers, HA/DR & storage architectures

· Experience in deploying Virtualization solutions (such as VMware) for enterprise customers.

· Good connect and reach with Indian customers

· Superb communication, articulation, presentation skills to a wider audience
