As the Oracle Cloud EPM Application Developer, you will partner with FinTech leaders to drive systems analyses and implement systems changes across fintech systems. You will be responsible for overall metrics and business impact of your programs. Your performance is measured by the impact of the projects you launch seamlessly and by your ability to influence and inspire a high-performing cross-functional team that includes Product, Engineering, Tax, Treasury, Accounting, Finance, and Operations. **What the Candidate Will Need / Bonus Points** \-\-\-\- What the Candidate Will Do ---- 01. Partner with Tax, Accounting, Finance, and other cross-functional stakeholders in the CFO org to understand processes and data flows, then drive business requirements and functional design specifications for long-term sustainable and scalable processes across multiple systems 02. Lead implementations, including system design, application development, configuration, data integration, administration, and support of Oracle Cloud EPM’s Tax Reporting application to drive long range forecasting of Tax Provision, Cash Tax, Effective tax rate, and more 03. Understand end to end architecture, data flows, and application processes for Tax requirements 04. ​​Design and configure TRCS solutions to align with tax reporting needs, including tax provisions, deferred taxes, and regulatory reporting. 05. Define and implement business rules, calculation scripts, and workflows in TRCS. 06. ​​Develop and configure data management and integration between TRCS and other Oracle EPM applications (e.g., FCCS, ARCS, PBCS). 07. Ensure compliance with IFRS, GAAP, and other tax regulatory requirements 08. Remain current with market developments and Oracle EPM best practices, to make sure that Uber’s EPM environment is in line with changing requirements and cutting-edge technological solutions 09. Ensure optimal performance, data accuracy, and system security within a SOX compliant environment 10. Work with Engineering and Technology project managers and consultants to track delivery for system solutions and influence the direction of platform 11. Coordinate and facilitate user acceptance testing and conduct end-user training for EPM modules 12. Conduct system assessments and provide recommendations for optimizing Oracle EPM environments 13. Communicate effectively with business and team members, managing project timelines and expectations \-\-\-\- Basic Qualifications ---- 1. Minimum 6+ years of direct experience in developing and implementing Oracle Cloud Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) products and associated data integration tools 2. 5+ years in Cloud EPM native solution, with at least 2+ years specific to Oracle Tax Reporting (TRCS) 3. Proficient in financial models, data architecture/integration, custom reports, dashboards, and analysis views 4. Strong understanding of tax reporting, deferred tax calculations, and corporate tax processes 5. Hands-on experience with EPMAutomate, REST API, Groovy scripting, and SQL. Knowledge of data integration tools like FDMEE, ODI, or Data Management in EPM Cloud 6. Well versed in writing business rules using groovy scripts, and setting up integration layers using Data Management with Oracle TRCS 7. Expertise in building reports using Narrative Reporting Cloud Services 8. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills 9. Excellent communication and client management skills \-\-\-\- Preferred Qualifications ---- 1. Oracle Cloud EPM Tax Reporting is preferred 2. Understanding of Tax Provision concepts is preferred, including but not limited to Deferred Tax, Cash Tax, Effective Tax Rate, Temporary adjustments, Permanent Adjustments 3. Oracle Predictive Cash Forecasting experience is preferred 4. Understanding of Treasury concepts is preferred, including but not limited to Cash Flow Forecast 5. Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service (FCCS) experience is a plus 6. Oracle Enterprise Data Management Cloud experience is a plus 7. Mulesoft experience is a plus 8.
