Oracle Cloud ERP Application Analyst

Job Summary** This intermediate position is responsible for configuring and supporting software application systems within the Finance Organization. As part of the Finance Technology team, this role is responsible for the day-to-day support, planning for releases and upgrades, and managing projects/enhancements for assigned Finance system(s)/module(s) (e.g Oracle ERP Cloud Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Project Portfolio Management, Receivables). Engaging and hands-on individual with system expertise and experience. **This position is hybrid (part time in the office and part time work from home) and requires the employee to reside in Houston, Texas.** **II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities** To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned. + Review open cases and issues, troubleshoot them, or assign them to appropriate team members for resolution. Coordinate with vendors to provide necessary support by opening tickets, escalating issues, and following up as required. + Support Financial systems including custom integrations (e.g., real-time, middleware, inbound and outbound). + Responsible for configuring the application according to design requirements and specifications. Partners with Finance Process owners to enhance processes and effectively address business needs. + Evaluates the effects of configuration, from foundational structures to extensions and downstream systems integrations. + Work closely with both the onshore and offshore teams, as well as the middleware teams, to ensure effective collaboration. + Ensures data integrity and governance by supporting large/complex data imports and extracts and validating accuracy through reporting and queries. Supports the development and maintenance of integrations/file transfers. + Provides analysis and consultation on the implementation of new software application products or new modules in existing applications. + Executes unit, integration, and acceptance testing. Support End users with required screenshots and system steps for testing and change management. + Act as subject matter expert and Finance Application Support owner of Oracle Cloud ERP. Keep current with application functionality, training, and releases. + Hands-on configuration of application(s), evaluating impact and supporting releases, patches, upgrades, and enhancements. + Support Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Project Portfolio Management, and Receivables Modules. + Be able to write basic SQL scripts to extract and analyze data. **III. Supervisory Responsibilities** No supervisory duties. IV. Qualifications The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job. **A. Education and Experience** Education: Bachelor’s Degree (accredited), or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four (4) years of relevant work experience. Experience: Two (2) years of previous experience (in addition to education requirement). Preferred Experience: Prior experience with Oracle Cloud ERP. **B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements** None required. **C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required** Hands on configuration of application(s), and supporting releases, patches, upgrades and/or enhancements. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers.
