Role: Oracle Cloud Finance Functional Architect
Location: Atlanta, GA or Remote with Milestone Travel
Job Summary:
The Oracle Cloud Finance Functional Architect role involves leading the design and execution of complex programs across various industry verticals, focusing on Finance & Accounting processes, and securing buy-in from client stakeholders by understanding customer needs and delivering value through solutions. The role requires deep technology and solution knowledge in Oracle SaaS Cloud, experience in delivering multiple transformation programs in Oracle Cloud and Oracle EBS/PeopleSoft, with expertise in the Finance domain. Additionally, the role demands strong communication skills, the ability to propose functional solutions based on relevant technology tools within the Oracle ecosystem, and the capability to challenge the status quo and bring out new solutions.
Responsibilities:
Lead design and execution of the complex programs across industry vertical customer’s Finance & Accounting processes, and securing buy-in from client stakeholders. This needs to be driven from the perspective of an understanding of customer needs and how our solutions best bring them value. Lead consulting and advisory on delivering roadmap and execution of NextGen digital finance programs, M&A initiatives undertaken by client. Identify, collaborate influence key stakeholders – Client business & IT stakeholders, internal teams - to design of Industry point solutions to influence new business. As an established Oracle ERP Cloud specialist, the incumbent should leverage their expertise to: Shape, develop and deliver the appropriate industry point solutions aimed at specific customer challenges, for targeted personas and business at large. Construct high quality proposals and facilitate / lead client interactions. Anchor solutions for large, complex deals by bringing together the independent solutions from Oracle technology scape by translating the prospective client business / IT needs into logical solution blocks with clear business value articulation. Drive knowledge management in Finance domain sharing solutions, best practice across functional teams.
Minimum Qualifications:
Deep technology/solution knowledge in Oracle SaaS Cloud with industry specialization in at least 2 industry verticals. Experience in delivering multiple transformation program in Oracle Cloud (at least 2 programs) and (or) Oracle EBS / PeopleSoft. Expertise in Finance domain and along with familiarity in Supply chain processes and its larger orchestration from finance perspective. Ability to propose point functional solutions based on relevant technology tools that are available within Oracle eco system. Good architecture and system design knowledge to build highly scalable business solutions. Very strong communication skills - both written and oral. Ability to challenge the status quo and bring out new solutions. 12+ years of IT experience with a minimum of 8+ years in client facing consulting roles.Preferred Qualifications:
Industry specific knowledge of at least 2 verticals. 2+ years of experience in Finance and Accounting Domain. Exposure in Analytics, RPA and process mining concept and tools. High level understanding / appreciation of global accounting standards specifically IFRS / US GAAP.
Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $112,500/Year to $132,000/Year depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
