Oracle Database Administrator (DBA)
Job Summary:
DT Professional Services is seeking a skilled Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to manage and optimize Oracle databases within our Azure Cloud environment. This role requires an individual with deep expertise in Oracle technologies, particularly in a Department of Defense (DoD) setting, ensuring compliance with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and other regulations. The ideal candidate will also have experience with Oracle Goldengate microservices, and cloud integration within Azure.

Responsibilities:Administer and maintain Oracle databases within the Azure Cloud, ensuring high availability, performance, and securityImplement and uphold STIG compliance across Oracle databases, conducting regular audits and updates to meet DoD standardsManage Oracle Goldengate microservices environments for data replication and integrationEnforce database security measures, including user access controls, encryption, and vulnerability management, adhering to DoD guidelinesOptimize database performance by monitoring, tuning, and proactive resource managementDevelop and manage backup and disaster recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availabilityWork closely with cross-functional teams, including IT security, application development, and cloud infrastructure, to support and enhance the overall database environmentMaintain detailed documentation of database configurations, procedures, and compliance activitiesBasic Qualifications:Must possess a DoD issued Active Secret ClearanceMust possess a CompTIA Security+ or higher IAT certificationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field OR equivalent experience may be considered5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA, with experience in a DoD environmentProven experience managing Oracle databases in Azure CloudProficiency in Oracle database technologies like RAC, Data Guard, ASMStrong understanding of Azure services and integrationStrong knowledge of DoD STIGs and RMF compliance frameworksPreferred Qualifications:Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or equivalent certificationAzure certifications related to database management and cloud administrationExperience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) and other Oracle management toolsAdvanced knowledge of cloud-based architecture, particularly within AzurePrior experience in implementing and managing microservices in cloud environmentsExcellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively
The compensation range for this position: $95,000 - $135,000 annually.
