JOB DESCRIPTION:Perform as the primary technical resource to design and implement enhancements and additions to an existing data warehouses which hosts multiple star schema based data marts. It's projected that duties will include adding additional dimensions and attributes to existing stars, designing new stars from underlying data combined with new data sources.Primary work includes maintaining existing ETL procedures and packages.Work with our SQL Server hosting team DBAs to implement Transparent Data Encryption in the warehouse.Work with the hosting team to implement encryption in flight for consumption of the database.Implement Oracle Enterprise Data Quality into the extract, transform and load processes that populate the warehouse.Design and implement an end user portal which will improve the data handling capabilities of the warehouse for an end user population.
